OnionLab, a dynamic technology startup specializing in SaaS solutions for Shopify, is seeking an Associate Product Manager. This role is designed to provide on-the-job training to develop into a Product Manager within 1-2 years. You will work remotely with our talented team to contribute to our innovative Shopify projects.

What you will do

  • Product Strategy Development: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business goals and market demands (on job training).
  • Market Research: Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and trends.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product’s lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collect and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and customers, translating them into actionable tasks for development teams.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on the highest priority features. (on job training)
  • User Experience (UX) Focus: Ensure that the product delivers an excellent user experience and meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track product performance using key metrics and KPIs to inform future development and improvements. (on job training).
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver the product on schedule and within cost constraints. (on job training).
Communication and Reporting: Keep stakeholders informed on progress, challenges, and outcomes through regular updates and reports.

Qualification

  • 1-5 years of experience with Shopify platform (Shopify apps, Shopify themes, Shopify agencies, etc.), ideally with a background in Product Marketing or Business Analysis.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, with an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and work with remote teams effectively.
